Strode Station Elementary students got a glimpse into the lives of the men and women who keep their community safe Friday morning during a public safety event. The students met with representatives from the East Kentucky Power Company, Clark County Fire Department, Winchester Fire-EMS, Clark County Sheriff’s Office and Clark County Emergency Management. The officials talked with students about their jobs, the equipment they use and what they do to stay safe while at work.
