Police and fire reports for Feb. 24

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Aaron S. Jones, 24, of 124 Strode Station Circle, Apt. A, was charged Tuesday with theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting) and alcohol intoxication.

— Lindsey Horseman, 30, of 112 Bayhill Drive, was charged Tuesday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

— Sherry K. Rison, 29, of Owingsville, was charged Tuesday with failure to appear (two counts), possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and promoting contraband.

— Amanda E. Cooper, 28, of Nicholasville, was charged today with possession of drug paraphernalia and third-degree possession of a controlled substance.

— Kathryn A. Taulbee, 31, of 101 S. Burns Ave., was charged today with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

— William G. Eason, 36, of 250 Oxford Drive Apt. 64, was charged today with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

— Lisa R. Eason, 35, of 250 Oxford Drive, Apt. 64, was charged today with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

Report

— On Tuesday, Karen Moore of 202 S. Maple St. reported that she left her purse in a cart while she was at Walmart with her family. When she returned, the purse was gone, and it had not been turned in to the store. The purse contained cash, a credit card, her operator’s license and other identification.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Wesley Owen, 25, of 422 Harney Drive, was charged Tuesday with theft by unlawful taking.

Report

— At 3:27 p.m. Monday, Kevin D. Owen of 422 Harney Drive reported that his son took a power drill, a power router and a nail gun. The items were recovered from Harper’s Pawn Shop, and Wesley Owen was arrested and charged with theft.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Tuesday, emergency personnel conducted three local transfers and two out-of-town transfers. They also responded to four general medical calls, one fall, one respiratory case, one cardiac case and one diabetic case.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 10:53 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Rosebud Lane.
