Police in Lexington are investigating a robbery that occurred at Central Baptist Hospital on Jan. 21. A woman was walking to her car in the hospital parking lot and got in her car. As she did, a white male forced the door of her car open and took her purse and ring. The suspect was described as a white male in his 30s wearing a blue hooded jacket. He then fled on foot towards downtown Lexington. A $1,000 cash reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest. Call Crime Stoppers at 253-2020 or 877-970-2020.Wanted Person of the Week
Authorities in Fayette County are searching for 30-year-old Martin Saldivar Martinez, who is wanted for second-degree burglary. He is a Hispanic male, 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call local law enforcement or Crime Stoppers, rather than try to apprehend him personally.Story comments
