Explosive implants new airplane threat
To the editor: According to World Net Daily, Muslim doctors who received training in Britain are returning to their countries and performing breast enhancement surgeries on Muslim women. Nothing wrong with that in the eyes of most men, except these are not your ordinary Dolly jobs. It is reported that these Muslim doctors are implanting explosives in the breasts of their patients. This procedure is done, of course, to circumvent airline security measures in the hopes of blowing up more “infidels” (that would be us). The article, titled, “Bosom Bombers,” highlights the ineptness of our airline security of detecting these implanted explosives. No matter what we spend on scanners, we are still at risk of attack from suicide bombers. Do we really want that kind of bang for our buck? It is time we rethink our security systems. We have to get tougher. Security must be stronger at the border and on all flights into the country. I hear Rand Paul is proposing a moratorium on visas from at least 10 countries that have harbored terrorists until we can effectively deal with these new threats. Not a bad idea if you ask me. At this point, what else are you going to do? Pat these “bombshells” down? Good luck with that! Michael Maggard, RichmondFreedom and fear
To the editor: Could it be that the establishment in Washington and special interests think God created two classes of people, those in power and the taxpayers who serve them? Do they think of us as mules that do not stir unless they’re whipped? They seem to think that the pen (or voice) was meant for them, and the sword was meant to use on the masses. Our history books tell us that when leaders of a country forget to serve the masses, the entire country winds up in chaos. How strange time is. It has really changed, and yes, it has changed us too. We have changed from freedom to fear, and the foundation of democracy is beginning to crumble. Cliff Barker, MoreheadStory comments
