Obituaries for March 4

LOUELLA K. BRANTLEY

Louella K. Brantley, 65 of Winchester, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2010 at the Clark Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Tazwell, Va., on Aug. 5, 1944 to the late Orvil A. and Lessie Alley Killen. She was the former president of the Women’s Club of Winchester, a Girl Scout leader, and a volunteer at Rose Mary C. Brooks Place.

Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Denise Feeback of Winchester and Susan Renee Brantley of Lexington; a son, William Albert Brantley Jr. of Washington, D.C.; a grandson, Nathan Feeback of Winchester; three brothers, Orville A. Killen Jr. of Tennessee, John A. Killen of Covington, Va., and Jerry C. Killen of Meadowbridge, W.Va.; two sisters, Nellie Jones of Winchester and Barbara A. Jones of Chesapeake, Va.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Earl Dean Watts 68, husband of Brenda Joyce Haggard Watts, passed away yesterday at his home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Scobee Funeral Home. Visitation will be from noon until service time.
