Winchester Mayor Ed Burtner read a joint city/county proclamation designating March as Clean Up Clark County Month. Attending the reading were, from left, Winchester Public Works Supervisor Pat Clark, Clark County Detention Center Litter Control Officer Don Parker, Burtner, Clark County Pride Coordinator Pam Blackburn, Clark County Solid Waste Coordinator Gary Epperson, Clark County Judge-Executive Henry Branham, Clark County Road Department Supervisor Kevin Wilson and Clark County Extension Agent Frank Hicks. The annual spring White Goods Roundup will be March 22-27 in the Walmart parking lot from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. The roundup will be accepting the usual items of appliances and other scrap metal plus e-scrap consisting of computers, monitors, printers and other electronic items. Tires will not be accepted during this spring’s roundup.
