Lions recognize seven members

Members of the Winchester Lions Club were honored recently at the club’s March meeting.
Clint Bumgardner was honored for his 53 years of membership service. He was presented a letter and signed photograph from University of Kentucky head football coach Joker Phillips.
Glenn Thornberry was honored for his 78 years of membership and perfect attendance. He was presented with a letter and a signed photograph from University of Kentucky men’s basketball coach John Calipari.
Everyone was presented pins in recognition of number of years served and received special gifts.
Clark County Judge-Executive Henry Branham presented the awards and received an award for his years of service.
