WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Melissa B. Anderson, 36, was charged Tuesday with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 1:17 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 61 Flanagan St. concerning a stolen license plate.

— At 6:27 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 114 Stevenson St. for a vandalism complaint after a person threw paint in the caller’s yard and on the fence.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Reports

—At 9:02 p.m. Thursday, deputies were called to the Clark County Detention Center after a deputy jailer found two pills and a glass pipe in a suspect’s purse. The pills were identified as alprazolam. Rebecca J. King of 2854 Ecton Road was charged with first-degree promoting contraband.

Accidents

— At 9:34 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Clintonville Road in which Hugo A. Zornoza of Frankfort did not stop for a stop sign and struck another vehicle, driven by Bobby J. Baker of Frankfort. Zornoza was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Tuesday, emergency personnel responded to four general medical calls and one cardiac case.
