— James Dewayne Bowman, 42, was charged Saturday with careless driving, operating on a suspended license and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

— Catherine Lee Hampton, 20, was charged Saturday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

— Gurpreet Singh, 22, was charged Friday with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, no operator’s license, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to maintain insurance.

— Robert M. Harley, 28, was charged Monday with fraudulent use of a credit card and theft or receipt of stolen credit card.

— At 11:59 p.m. Friday, officers responded to 846 Bypass Road in reference to an EPO/DVO violation.

— At 4:26 p.m. Friday, officers took a report of forged checks cashed at People’s Exchange Bank.

— At 7:51 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to 221 S. Burns Ave. in reference to theft of a ladder.

— At 8:42 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to 1320 Dale Drive in reference to theft of a motor scooter.

— At 10:26 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to 220 E. Washington St. in reference to damage to a vehicle.

— At 10:44 a.m. Saturday, officers responded 12 Taylor Ave. in reference to threatening messages sent to a cell phone.

— At 1:23 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to 459 S. Maple St. in reference to theft of a folding chair and stool from the front porch.

— At 1:15 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to 5 Wilson Lane in reference to a domestic disturbance.

— At 1:54 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to 722 Colby Road in reference to theft of a purse from a vehicle.

— At 2:53 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to 20 Windridge Drive in reference to theft of two handguns.

— At 3:57 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to 16 S. Maple St. in reference to stolen items found at Dan’s Discount.

— At 5:43 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to Maple and Washington streets in reference a wallet stolen from a vehicle.

— At 6:11 p.m. Sunday, officers took a report concerning a stolen cell phone.

— At 6:23 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to 1661 Bypass Road in reference to a beer stolen from Kroger.

— At 11:49 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to 207 W. Broadway St. in reference to an assault.

— At 12:09 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 31 S. Burns Ave. concerning a theft of money from a purse.

— AT 1:15 p.m. Monday, officers took a report concerning a stolen check.

— At 2:04 p.m. Monday, officers took a report concerning a stolen check.

— At 8:12 p.m. Monday, officers were called to Highland and Broadway streets for a fight in progress.

— At 11:40 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 101 N. Main St after someone in a black sedan shot a residence and the caller with a paint ball gun.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— John G. Rupard, 22, of 633 Schollsville Road, was charged Friday with possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Jack M. Considine, 24, of 104 Gadwall Lane, was charged Friday with carrying a concealed deadly weapon, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and careless driving.

Reports

— At 8 a.m. Monday, deputies were called to 839 Darby Trace after someone took several power tools.

— At 2:03 p.m. Monday, deputies were called to St. Hubert Church, 1436 Grimes Mill Road, after someone broke into the church. Nothing appeared to be missing.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Monday, emergency personnel responded to six general medical calls and one cardiac case.
