Two youths from the First Baptist Church, East Lexington Avenue, have applied for Student Mission Work in Australia next summer, according to an announcement made at the Sept. 3 meeting of the Helen Ford Circle held at the Holiday Inn. The two, Shannon Anderson and Ross Linderman, will earn money for the trip.

Winners in the Winchester-Clark County Chamber of Commerce’s annual golf scramble Monday at the Winchester Country Club were the team of Jerry Keaton, Kirby Tabor, James Jones and Gardner Wagers, which won the low net division, and the team of  Wayne Martin, John Hendricks, Curt Caywood and Ewart Johnson, which won the low gross division.

The Altrusa Club of Winchester will present the “Festival of Fabrics” style show at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, 1991, at the Holiday Inn. Tickets are $10. Proceeds for Life Line and the library building fund.
