WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— James E. Miller, 32, was charged Thursday with fourth-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

— Jerry Allen Miller, 29, was charged Thursday with second-degree assault.

— Woody D. Terry, 48, was charged Thusday with second-degree fleeing or evading police, driving on a suspended operator’s license, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and driving under the influence.

— Virgil Lee Williams, 62, was charged Thursday with first-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault.

Reports

— At 10:38 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 122 Calloway St. for a terroristic threatening complaint.

— At 12:08 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 401 N. Maple St. for a domestic disturbance. Virgil Lee Williams was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault.

— At 8:27 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 836 Bypass Road concerning a theft.

— At 11:13 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 108 S. Main St. concerning a theft of two cell phones.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Thursday, emergency personnel responded to five general medical calls, three cardiac cases and one seizure.

— At 10:19 a.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 3400 Corporate Drive. It was a false alarm.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Accidents

— At 7:31 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to aninjury accident on Colby Road in which Michael B. Curtis

of Lexington attempted to pass another vehicle, driven by Kathy L. Miller of 111 S. Burns Ave., by crossing a double yellow line. Curtis’ motorcycle struck the other vehicle. Both were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 11:28 a.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 2001 Goshen Road.

— At 12:49 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a mutual aid request from Powell County for a structure fire on Winchester Road.

— At 5:36 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a smell of gasoline on Interstate 64 near the 93 mile marker.

— At 7:32 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Colby Road.

— At 8:33 p.m. Thursday, firefighters were called to 96 Hillcrest Drive for a smell of smoke in a residence.
