Accidents

—At 9:48 p.m. Friday, officers responded to an injury accident on South Main Street in which Kayla Howard of 919 Hackberry Circle, was driving the wrong way on Hickman Street, which is a one way street. Another driver, Carol Rose of 508 College St., said she had just turned onto Main Street from Boone Avenue when her vehicle was struck in the left side by the other vehicle. Rose’s vehicle came to rest in a yard on Main Street. Witnesses said Howard’s vehicle went airborne following the impact. Howard, Rose and Rose’s passenger Autumn Hunagle of 118 Victory, were all transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

— At 9:57 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to an injury accident on Georgia Street in which Jason Wakeley of 27 E. Washington St., attempted to turn left onto Hickman Street when the scooter fell over. Wakeley was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with a possible broken leg. Wakeley’s passenger April Richoux was not injured.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— During the weekend, emergency personnel responded to 23 general medical calls, four cardiac cases, one respiratory case, one seizure and one overdose.

— At 7:59 p.m. Friday, firefighters were called to 12 S. Burns Ave. for an air conditioner on fire.

— At 7:16 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 605 Rolling Hills Lane. The alarm malfunctioned.

— At 3:20 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 109 East Lexington Ave. The alarm malfunctioned.

— At 4:26 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 1221 Bypass Road. The alarm malfunctioned.
