Lucille Raney Birch, 91, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at UK Medical Center.

She was born in Clark County, February 16, 1925, to the late Walter Raney Sr. and Mary Ann Crowe Raney. She was retired from Clark County Hospital for over 20 years. She was also a member of Ruckerville Church of Christ.

She is survived by her two children, Kenneth A. Birch (Abbie), and Danny D. Birch (Susan); four grandchildren, Vonda B. Hall. (Danny), Kevin W. Birch (Michele), Stephen D. Birch, Chuck Birch (Venessa); one step-grandson, Timothy Mobley (Jessica); eight great grandchildren, Bethany Hall-Reed (James), Amanda Hall-Babb (Clayton), Monica Birch, Stephen Birch, Becky Birch, McKayla Hall, Dillon Birch, Hillary Birch; eight great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Dorothy Epperson.

Services will be at 1:00PM Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at Scobee Funeral Home by Brother Atwood Winkle. Burial will follow in Clarmont Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Ruckerville Church of Christ.

Visitation will be from 11:00AM until time of service.
