Caleb Vaughn Edward Compton, 23, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016.

He was born on May 19, 1993, in Hyden, Kentucky. He was a member of the United States National Guard and attended Calvary Christian Church.

Survivors include his mother, Kerry Williams (Paul) Zinda; father, George Edward (Martha) Compton; sister, Kirstie (Joshua) Dunston; grandparents, Woody and Sadie Compton, Kenneth Ray (Debbie Houston) Williams; uncle, Jeremy (Haruko) Williams and his children, Collin and Leah Williams; uncle, Brent (Laurie) Compton and his son, Lucas Compton; step-siblings, Tucker, Delaney and Kaitlyn Zinda and Emily Slicker, Devan (Kelsey) Nipper and his son, Isaiah Nipper, Madison Nipper, Chelsea (Nathaniel) Nichols and Nora Nichols.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marcella Fields Williams; and uncle, Woody Delynn Compton.

Services will be conducted at 1:00PMSaturday, October 1, 2016, at Calvary Christian Church by Pastor Steve Crosby. Graveside services at Mountain Memory Gardens in Hindman, Kentucky will be at a later date.

Visitation will be Friday, September 30, 2016, from 5:00-8:00PM.
