Ida Frances Cravens Parrish, 82, widow of Willard “Bill” Young Parrish, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016, in Athens, Texas.
She was born in Clark County on August 24, 1934, to the late Russell Frances Cravens and Anna Marie McQueen. She was retired from Sylvania and was a member of the First Church of God.
She is survived by two brothers, Calvin Cravens (Mary Nell), Rev. Arlie Cravens (Ruby); one sister, Dora D. Rowe; one daughter, Teresa McGraner (Sam); three grandchildren, Marcus Parrish, Morgan Parrish, Ashley Loden; two great grandchildren, Briley Loden, Allie Loden; one sister-in-law, Gloria Cruse; and one brother-in-law, Richard Lainhart.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Beulah Elliott; one brother, Rufus P. Cravens; one son, Russel Parrish; and one daughter, Carol Parrish.
Services will be conducted at 1:00PMThursday, September 29, 2016, at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastor Tom Hall. Burial will follow in Winchester Cemetery.
Visitation was held Wednesday, September 28, 2016, from 5:00PM-8:00PM at Scobee Funeral Home.
