Ronald Lee Chism, 77

Ronald Lee Chism, 77, of Winchester, husband of Beverly Perkins Chism for 27 years, passed away Wednesday at his home.
A native of Clark County, he was born August 3, 1939, to the late Oliver and Louise Baggerman Chism. He was a 30 year retiree veteran from the United States Marine Corps and attended Eastside Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, James Mitchell Chism of Richmond; two grandsons, Michael and Bobby Chism of Richmond; two granddaughters, Ciera Dawn and Andrew Smekens of Stanford, KY, and Alicia Renee and Colby Taylor of Winchester; several great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and an aunt, Margaret McGuire of Winchester.
Preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Jo Owens and Phyllis Jean Lewis.
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 1, at 1:00p.m. at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St, with Bro. Linville Spangler presiding. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11am until the hour of service.
Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be the USMC.
