Leonard and Helen Hornsby, formerly of Winchester, announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amberlyn Hornsby, to Jake Whitaker, the son of Steve and Robin Whitaker, of Richmond.

The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of George Rogers Clark High School and a 2012 graduate of Western Kentucky University. She is employed as a registered nurse.

The groom-elect is a 2003 graduate of Madison Central High School. He attended Eastern Kentucky University. He is employed as a government contractor.

The couple will wed in an invitation-only ceremony March 25, 2017, at Ashland Avenue Baptist Church in Lexington. A reception will follow at the Signature Club of Lansdowne in Lexington.
