Kiddville Baptist

homecoming

Kiddville Baptist Church will have a Homecoming service at 11 a.m. Sunday. The sermon will be by the Rev. Stephen Kuehne. A potluck dinner will follow the service.

Singing at Evangelist Ministry

There will be a gospel singing at 6 p.m. Saturday at Evangelist Ministry Church, 8 Bloomfield Road.

Plant a Row accepting fresh produce

First Christian Church is collecting fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs for donation to Clark County Community Services food baskets for the needy each week. The Rev. Jerry Johns can pick up donations and can be reached at 744-3181. This service will continue through the summer growing season. Produce can also be delivered to Clark County Community Services, 30 Taylor Ave. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Tell them its for Plant A Row.

Conversation

and Communion

Conversation and Communion take place each week at Grace Cafe and Bakery, 740 Bypass Road. Participants will share a light meal or snack on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. and begin Bible study at 6 p.m. The study, which is led by the Rev. Chana Tetzlaff of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, will be followed by holy communion.

Wednesday gospel meetings

There will be one-hour gospel meetings focused on the life and teachings of Jesus at 7:30 p.m. each Wednesday at the Red Roof Inn in Winchester. The services are presented by Bill Benk and Tanner Shoman.

Community Bible Study 

An interdenominational Bible study for women, teens and children will meet from 9:15 to 11:15 a.m. Friday at Central Baptist Church, 101 W. Lexington Ave. The study will be about Romans. For more information, visit winchester.cbsclass.org or contact Eileen Keeton at 771-3260.

Grace Bible feeding program

Grace Bible Church, 250 N. Main St., has a feeding program Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. and Sundays at 5 p.m. For more information, call 737-4722.

Celebrate Recovery meetings on Tuesdays

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program based on the eight beatitudes, the 12 steps and their biblical comparisons. This program is for any hurt, hang-up or habit. There is childcare available for ages newborn to 4 years and Celebration Place, a pre-covery program for ages 5 to 12. The meetings are every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Calvary Christian Church, 15 Redwing Drive. The Landing is a support program based on the eight beatitudes for teens struggling with issues such as family relationships, food issues, being bullied, low self-esteem, drugs, alcohol, cutting or behavior problems.
