Voter registration deadline is Tuesday

Kentuckians who wish to vote in the Nov. 8 general election have until Tuesday to register.
In order to be eligible to vote, voter registration applications must be submitted by 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes said 3.2 million Kentuckians are already registered.
Voter registration forms are available at the Clark County Clerk’s office. Registration is also available online at the Kentucky State Board of Election’s website.
On the local ballot will be a number of local, state and federal races.
Running for the President of the United States are Republican Donald J. Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton, along with Libertarian Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein.
Running for U.S. Senate are Republican Rand Paul and Democrat Jim Gray.
Running for 6th District U.S. Representative are Republican Andy Barr and Democrat Nancy Jo Kemper.
For the office of 73rd District State Representative, Republican Donna Mayfield and Democrat John Hendricks are on the ballot.
Larry VanMeter and Glenn Acree are running for the office of the 5th District Justice of the Kentucky Supreme Court.
Joan Deaton Grefer and Kimberly Blair Walson are on the ballot for Family Court Judge, 25th judicial circuit, 4th division.
Running for election to the District 2 seat on the Clark County Board of Education are Todd Wilson and Scott Hisle.
Running unopposed for their school board seats are Gordon Parido in District 3 and Ashley Ritchie in District 5.
On the ballot for the four seats on the Winchester Board of Commissioners are Rick Beach, Kenny Book, Kitty Strode, Shannon Cox, Ralph Harrison and Ramsey Flynn.
Also on the ballot are write-in options for the District 2 and District 4 constable.
