The Winchester Licensing Board voted Monday night to turn over delinquent business  licenses to the city attorney and issued a closure notice for a business operating without a license.

The board reviewed a list of 17 business owners who have not responded to frequent notices of delinquent license fees and requests to notify the city whether the business is still operating.

Businesses or owners who will be turned over to the city attorney, who will file charges with the county attorney for the delinquent licenses, are:

— Don Pearson

— Family First Security Inc.

— Hatton’s Plumbing

— Moberly Photography Services

— Danny Pergram

— RL Payton Ventures Art

— Service Novelty CQ

— Jay Stenzel

— TML Construction Inc.

— Verns Mobile Paint Repair

— Winchester Taxi

— Lisa Wolf.

The Board also agreed to issue a notice of closure to Lominac Law, located at 12 Court, that is currently operating without a license.

City Clerk Marilyn Rowe told the Board the business has been notified about the need to have a license, but is awaiting an electrical inspection before the license can be issued.

Board member Roy Hudson said the closure will be effective until a license is obtained.

In other business, the Board approved an application by Broadway Liquor and Bar, 137 East Broadway St., for retail malt beverage package and retail malt beverage drink licensees.

The Board will meet again at 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7.
