Second Thursday about Wilderness Trail

The October Second Thursday program will be a program by Kevin Palmer about surviving the Wilderness Trail, which was the principal path for settlers to reach Kentucky in the late 1700s. the programs begins at 6:30 p.m. today at the Bluegrass Heritage Museum, 217 S. Junior Civitan coat drive ends Friday

The Baker Intermediate School Junior Civitan club will be collecting coats, gloves, hats and scarves this week for the Beacon of Hope. Fix a Feral Cat meeting

“Fix a Feral Cat Campaign: Plan to Spay/Neuter Feral Cats in Clark County” will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Clark County Public Library. Absentee voting is open for Clark County voters who will be out of the county during election day, Nov. 8. Hours for absentee voting at the Clark County Clerk’s office are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
