NARFE has Sept. meeting

Chapter 1828 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association met at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Taste of China. Sandy Stults, general director and curator for the Bluegrass Heritage Museum, was the guest speaker.

Present for the meeting were Denver Parks, Lila Omohundro, Betty Hollon, Audrey King, Janice Taulbee, Pat Gibbs, Jean Brandenburg, Grace Ingram, Wanda Bachman, Helen Parsons, Phillip Jackson, Ann C. Hall, Teresa Dulin, Will Bentley, Cindy Bentley and Sandy Stults.

The next meeting will be at noon Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Taste of China. The guest speaker will be Kevin Palmer, chief of Winchester Police.
