Two nights of Hee Haw-style entertainment are on tap at the Leeds Center for the Arts beginning Friday.

Leeds Board President Tracey Miller said the event is a fundraiser for Leeds and for Clark County C.A.R.E.S., which supports the Clark County Animal Shelter and animal welfare.

“We are bringing back the Jamboree for the first time in many years,” Miller said.

Both evenings will feature a number of country-themed comedy sketches and skits with regional actors and Winchester Mayor Ed Burtner in the cast, she said.

Brett Cheuvront will serve as the master of ceremonies both nights.

There will also be a variety of live music including Ralph Curtis, Dale Pyatt, The Graham Family Band and Jennifer Webb.

During Saturday night’s show, The Martin Family Circus will be added to the lineup, she said. There will also be clogging by the Duncan family.

Winchester resident Bonnie Hardy will portray Minnie Pearl in both performances as well, Miller said.

Because the event is a fundraiser for Clark County C.A.R.E.S., there will be animals in attendance as well.

“We’re going to have animals from Clark County C.A.R.E.S. and the animal shelter there both nights” which will be available for adoption, Miller said.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children. They are available at www.leedscenter.org until noon Friday or at the box office both nights. The show begins at 7:30 p.m.

“It’s going to be a night of good family fun,” Miller said. “This is an opportunity for the community to rally around two great causes.”
