GIS meeting rescheduled
Tuesday’s Clark County Consortium for GIS Board of Directors meeting has been cancelled. There will be a special meeting at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the WMU Administration Office, 150 N. Main St.
School board meeting
The Clark County Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Central Office, 1600 W. Lexington Ave. The meeting is open to the public.
Fiscal Court meeting Wednesday
The Clark County Fiscal Court will meet at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Clark County Courthouse. Items on the agenda include orders to declare surplus property and the first reading of a zoning change ordinance.
Coffee with your Congressman 
U.S. Rep. Andy Barr will host “Coffee With Your Congressman” from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Cairn Coffee House, 17 S. Main St. He will be joined by U.S. Rep. Bill Huizenga, who represents Michigan’s 2nd Congressional District. Attendees are responsible for their own meal. The event is open to the public. No RSVP is required. 
Community Education classes offered
The following Community Education classes will begin in the next two weeks.
— Excel: Beyond the Basics, 6 to 8 p.m., Thursdays, Oct. 27 through Nov. 10, $60
— Art Class: Paint a Spoon Rest (adults), 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, $20
— Art Class: Paint a Spoon Rest (children ages 8 to 12), 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, $15

Board of Adjustments meeting
The Winchester-Clark County Board of Adjustments will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Commission Chambers at City Hall.
Fish and Game club youth hunt
The Clark County Fish & Game Club Waterfowl Hunters will host 20 youth hunters for breakfast and a hunt Nov. 5-6 at the Carroll Ecton Reservoir 1277 Water Works Road. For additional information, contact Lee Kerr at 771-5639 or visit www.ccfgclub.com.
Absentee voting under way
Absentee voting is open for Clark County voters who will be out of the county during election day, Nov. 8. Hours for absentee voting at the Clark County Clerk’s office are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
