WINCHESTER POLICE
Charged
— Wayne Curtis Bennett, 23, was charged Saturday with third-degree criminal trespassing and theft by unlawful taking.
— Ernest Lee Christopher, 44, was charged Saturday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substnace, unlawful possession of a meth precursor, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
— Patrick John Hutson, 46, was charged Sunday with theft by unlawful taking.
— Carroll R. McCormack, 48, was charged Saturday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and third-degree possession of a controlled substance.
— Michael Dewayne Ritchie, no age given, was charged Saturday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a meth precursor, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a probation violation.
— Beth Ann Rivas, 33, was charged Friday with theft by unlawful taking.
— Kyle B. Slucher, 30, was charged Sunday with reckless driving, disregarding a stop sign, driving under the influence and first-degree fleeing or evading police.

— At 4:39 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 245 CArolina Ave. concerning an assault.
— At 11:07 a.m. Friday, officers took a report concerning a theft of items from a truck earlier in the week.
— At 2:55 p.m. Friday, officers were called to Kroger, 1661 Bypass Road, concerning a suspected shoplifter. Beth Ann Rivas was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.
— At 8:31 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 44 N. Maple St. concerning an assault.
— At 8:48 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 951 Bypass Road concerning a theft of a jacket.
— At 9:30 p.m. Friday, officers wer called to Main and Court streets concerning a person with a knife chasing another person.
— At 8:40 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 300 C.G. Stephenson Drive concerning a theft from a residence.
— At 10:07 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 548 Kiwi Drive concerning an assault.
— At 10:23 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Market Street and Thoroughbred Plaza concerning a suspicious person. Ernest Lee Christopher, Carroll R. McCormack and Michael Dewayne Ritchie were arrested on multiple charges.
— At 3:30 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a theft. John Patrick Hutson was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.
CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF
Charged
— John E. Hull, 48, of 402 Mount Vernon Drive, was charged Sunday with second-degree assault.
Reports
— At 5:18 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to 113 Spring Ridge Way after someone took a tablet computer and an iPhone.
— At 10 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to Rockwell Road concerning a stolen purse.
WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS
— During the weekend, emergency personnel responded to eight general medical calls, two cardiac cases, three respiratory cases, one diabetic case, one seizure and one overdose.
— At 7:55 p.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to 106 Finley Ave. for an unauthorized fire. The fire was extinguished and the home owner was advised of the burning ban.
CLARK COUNTY FIRE
— At 9:46 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at Fountain Circle, 200 Glenway Road.
— At 1:49 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a structure fire at 3720 McClure Road.
— At 6:22 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at Fountain Circle, 200 Glenway Road.
— At 8:30 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a calll at 6515 Ecton Road.
— At 9:05 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 31 Hillcrest Drive.
— At 11:15 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at 1415 Log Lick Road.
— At 2:38 op.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding aty 1268 McClure Road. The run was canceled.
— At 4:14 p.m. Sunday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at Iron Works and Locust Grove roads.
— At 7:32 p.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to 2780 McClure Road for an investigation.
— At 6:06 a.m. today, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at Southern States, 5799 Rockwell Road.
