Bean, William C. (Bill) Jr., 62, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother died October 25 in Winchester.

Born July 13, 1954, to William and Dorothy Moran Bean in Maysville. He graduated in 1972 from Mason County High. Attended LTI, was VP at Lexington Steel, VP of Sales for Mid States Steel, owner of Bean Enterprises, Inc. He was an elder and former deacon at First Christian Church, Winchester. He sang in the choir and enjoyed his time with the KY Men’s Chorus. He was a past member of the Winchester Jaycees.

Survived by his wife, Diane “Dee” (Olsen) Bean, Winchester; son, Josh (Deborah) Bean, Lexington; daughter, Jennifer (William) Bean Johnson, Shelbyville, and Katrina Bean, Winchester; grandchildren, Maley and Ian Johnson, Shelbyville; sister, Dottie Bean, Lexington; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gary (Connie) Olsen, Cherokee, IA and Delores Olsen (Lonnie) Painter, Fulton, IL; and several nephews and their families. Also surviving are several cousins.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 29 at First Christian Church, Winchester, beginning at noon with a Celebration of Life at 3pm.

Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main Street is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Christian Church, 24 E. Hickman St., Winchester.
