— Community Thanksgiving service, 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 37 N. Highland St. Service is open to all churches and denominations. “The Big Sound” children’s choir and the Unity Choir will perform. An offering will be accepted to support the transient ministry administered by Clark County Community Services. Fellowship with appetizers provided by Clark Regional Medical Center and The Greater Clark Foundation will follow the service.

— NAMI Winchester/Clark Co. (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Support/Educational Meeting, 7 p.m., McCready Hall, Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 2410 Lexington Road. — McDonald’s family night for Strode Station Elementary Schoo, 5 to 7 p.m. 
— “Facing real world problems” community event at George Rogers Clark Cardinal Theatre, 6 to 7 p.m. for kindergarten through sixth grade students and parents; 7 to 8 p.m. for seventh to 12th grade students and parents. Topics will include drug education and awareness, social media and bullying.

— Kiwanis Club of Winchester annual pancake breakfast, 7 to 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church. All-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, gravy, eggs, biscuits, orange juice, milk and coffee. Adults tickets are $6 in advance or $7 at door, children are $4 in advance or $5 at door.
