CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Larry D. Fraley, 31, of 530 Acadia Way, was charged Sunday with second-degree burglary and violation of an EPO/DVO.

Reports

— At 8:40 a.m. Sunday, deputies were called to 1187 Lafayette Blvd. after someone broke a window on a vehicle.

— At 11:29 a.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 7716 Red River Road concerning a theft and vandalism.

Accidents

— At 3:22 a.m. Saturday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Colby Road in which William J. Benningfield of 250 Mutual Ave. was in a pursuit with Winchester Police officers. Deputies said Benningfield’s Chevrolet Colorado lost control, hit a concrete pad near a fire hydrant, spun and hit a utility pole. The truck broke in half behind the cab, which overturned and ejected Benningfield. Benningfield was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center with unspecified injuries. Alcohol was listed as a factor in the crash.

— At 12:29 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Irvine Road in which William Biddle of 939 Pilot View was riding north in a motorcycle when something hit the handlebars and he lost control. Biddle was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 12:25 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at 9416 Irvine Road.

— At 7:59 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 5799 Rockwell Road.

— At 9:54 a.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Williamsburg Drive.

— At 12:30 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at 5695 Irvine Road.

— At 11:22 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a structure fire on Cook Avenue for mutual aid.

— At 11:52 p.m Saturday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the westbound 95 mile marker.

— At 6:50 a.m. Sunday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Hickory Lane.

— At 9:49 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Mount Sterling Road and Veterans Memorial Parkway.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— During the weekend, emergency personnel responded to 24 general medical calls, five cardiac cases, seven respiratory cases, one diabetic case, two overdoses and four motor vehicle accidents.

— At 3:08 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 960 Interstate Drive. It was caused by a water leak.

— At 10:54 p.m. Saturday, firefighters were called to 9 Cook Ave. for a structure fire in a vacant house.
