For the office of 73rd District State Representative, Republican Donna Mayfield and Democrat John Hendricks are on the ballot.

Joan Deaton Grefer and Kimberly Blair Walson are on the ballot for Family Court Judge, 25th judicial circuit, 4th division.

Running for election to the District 2 seat on the Clark County Board of Education are Todd Wilson and Scott Hisle.

Running unopposed for their school board seats are Gordon Parido in District 3 and Ashley Ritchie in District 5.

On the ballot for the four seats on the Winchester Board of Commissioners are Rick Beach, Kenny Book, Kitty Strode, Shannon Cox, Ralph Harrison and Ramsey Flynn.

Also on the ballot are write-in options for the District 2 and District 4 constable.

Clark County Clerk Michelle Turner said she expects a larger than average turnout of voters Tuesday, and warned that lines may be long.

“I think turnout is going to be heavy tomorrow based on phone calls and absentee voting,” she said. “We just ask that people be patient. With such a turnout, lines will be longer than normal.”

Turners said 28,073 Clark Countians were registered and eligible to vote as of Oct. 19.

Turner said the Sphar and Van Meter precincts have been moved to Baker Intermediate school instead of the Elks Lodge. Turner said an audit last year found there were accessibility issues with several precincts, but the Elks could not be remedied.

Another situation at the county fire station in Trapp has been fixed, she said, and voting will occur as normal.

No other precincts have been moved, she said.

Polls open at 6 a.m. and all voters in line by 6 p.m. will be allowed to vote before the polls close.
