Raymond Bond, 88

Raymond Bond, 88, of Winchester, husband of Dorothy Ball Bond, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was born October 2, 1928 in Rockcastle County to the late John and Mary McCracken Bond. Raymond was a retired welder for L&N Railroad. He was a proud U.S. Army Korean War Era Veteran, serving in Germany. Raymond was a member of the Bradford Masonic Lodge #123, Right Angle Lodge # 233 and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Winchester.

In addition to his loving wife Dorothy, he is survived by three daughters, Donna (Doug) Kuhn of Indianapolis, IN, Patty (Gary) Ellis of Texas, Christy (Ben) Fox of Winchester; two sons, Raymond (Penelope) Bond, Jr. of Tennessee, Jeff (Carolyn) Bond of Winchester; grandchildren, Megan Alwine, Amy Lamar, Liz Ellis, Charity Loos, Nathan Bond, Philip Bond, Abigail Bond, Matthew Bond, John Bond, Mary Bond, Susanna Bond, Timothy Bond, Charissa Bond, Jared Bond, Chris Bond, Allison Bond, Emory Bond, Aaron Bond, Ryan Bond, Thomas Fox, Mark Fox; he also leaves behind four sisters, three brothers, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one grandson, Gideon Bond.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00AM, Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Scobee funeral home by David Scalf. A Masonic Service will also be held Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY.
