WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Robert Briston Begley, 39, was charged Tuesday with receiving stolen property.

— Joshua Ray Campbell, 20, was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence and careless driving.

— Johanna Lynn Radek, 25, was charged Tuesday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Lisa Lynn Haggard, 54, was charged Wednesday with alcohol intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

— Robert A. Johnson, 51, was charged Wednesday with no or expired registration plate, failure to maintain insurance and driving on a DUI-suspended operator’s license.

— Kenan G. Stotts, no age given, was charged Wednesday with careless driving and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— At 8:06 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 1533 Bypass Road after a door was broken during the night.

— At 10:12 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 156 Westside Drive concerning a theft.

— At 11:16 a.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning stolen jewelry.

— At 12:38 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 135 Linden Ave. concerning a bad check.

— At 2:14 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 1575 Bypass Road concerning two suspected shoplifters. Johana Lynn Radek was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking. A male suspect fled the scene.

— At 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 114 Dorset Lane after someone broke into a residence.

— At 3:51 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 108 W. Hickman St. for a domestic disturbance.

— At 5:12 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 236 W. Hickman St. concerning a person making threats.

— At 5:26 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 713 Crockett Court after someone broke into a residence.

— At 7:24 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 102 Gary Court concerning credit card fraud.

— At 12:25 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 316 Jackson St. concerning a person making threats.

— At 9:42 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 103 N. Maple St. after a door at a business was damaged during the night.

— At 12:41 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 705 W. Lexington Ave. after someone attempted to break into a residence.

— At 12:50 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning removing a person from a residence.

— At 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning a person trying to break into a person’s house.

— At 6:04 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 117 Sheffield Way concerning credit card fraud.

— At 9:43 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 1215 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a theft of laundry detergent.

— At 10:07 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 221 S. Burns Ave. concerning a stolen purse.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 12:18 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 11279 Iron Works Road.

— At 6:52 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at McClure Road and Westmeade Drive.

— At 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at 1601 Mount Sterling Road.

— At 8 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a transformer on fire at 721 Waveland Drive.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Reports

— At 5:21 p.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to 1261 Ecton Road after someone broke into a residence and storage building and took property including a motorcycle and two guitars.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Wednesday, emergency personnel responded to eight general medical calls, two cardiac cases, two respiratory cases, one diabetic case and one seizure.
