Class of 1948 meeting 

The Clark County High School Class of 1948 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Maddie’s on Main Street.

Heritage Baptist collecting coats

Heritage Baptist Church, 4369 Lexington Road, is collecting coats through Dec. 11 for Operation Happiness. The drive is in memory of the late J.R. Johnson, who once gave the coat off his own back to a person who did not have one, according to church officials.

Licensing board meeting cancelled    

The Winchester Licensing Board meeting scheduled for 5 p.m. Monday has been cancelled.

Shearer SBDM special meeting

The Shearer School-based Decision-making Council will have a special meeting at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, in the Shearer Conference Room. The 2016–17 Comprehensive School Improvement Plan will be finalized and approved.

City commission meetings cancelled 

The Winchester Board of Commissioners meetings scheduled for Dec. 6 and Dec. 20 have been cancelled and rescheduled for 10 a.m. Dec. 13 in the commission chambers at City Hall.

Push-in ceremony for fire truck

There will be a push-in ceremony for Winchester Fire-EMS Truck 3 from 3-5 p.m. Saturday at Station 3, 1100 Fortune Drive.

Winchester Chorale performances

The Winchester Chorale’s annual Christmas concert will be at First Church of God, 2500 Colby Road. The performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Board of Adjustments meeting 

The Winchester-Clark County Board of Adjustments will have a meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, in the city commission chambers at Winchester City Hall, 32 Wall St.

Campbell FRC meeting 

The Campbell Junior High School Family Resource Center advisory council will meet at 11 a.m. Monday at the school.

Sylvania retirees meeting Dec. 13

Winchester GTE/Sylvania/Osram/UAW retirees will meet for lunch 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, at the Blue Isle on Shoppers Drive. All Winchester Sylvania retirees and former employees are welcome.
