Robert Julian Jackson, 93, of Clark County, widower of Doris Jean Jackson, passed away Tuesday at the Baptist Health Hospital in Richmond.

A native of Bowling Green, KY, he was born November 26, 1923, to the late William N. and Dorothy Gadd Jackson. He was a United States Navy veteran after 25 years of service and he retired after 18 years from Rockwell.

He is survived by son, Daniel “Joe” (Judy) Jackson of Clark County; daughter, Julia Jackson of Frankfort; granddaughter, Linda Jackson; and 2 great-grandchildren, Kiayam and Michah Benavides.

He was preceded in death by one son, Robert Jackson Jr. and 4 brothers.

Funeral services will be Monday, December 12 at 1:00p.m. at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main Street, with Bro. Billy Keller presiding. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11am until the hour of service. Burial will be in the Flatwoods Cemetery in Waco, KY.
