Elmer Smith, 72, widower of Sylvia Smith, passed away Saturday, December 10 2016 at Baptist Health in Lexington. He was born on November 10, 1944 in Dearborn, Indiana to the late Govan and Maggie McIntosh Smith. He was a retired bus driver and factory worker. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by one daughter, Michelle Felty of Frankfort. One son, Don Michael Smith of Frenchburg. Four grandchildren; Danielle Masengale, Gregory (Jamie) Stone II, Thomas Stone all of Mt. Sterling and Jordan Smith of Danvile. Two great grandchildren; Carson Todd and Gregory Stone III. One sister, Clara Perry.

He was preceded in death by his loving mother in law, Mae Thomas Smith.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Scobee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Scobee Funeral Home.
