Ann Hays Collins, 87

Ann Hays Collins, 87, of Winchester, widow of Dr. John L. Collins, joined her Lord in Heaven on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016 at Clark Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Collins was born in Letcher County, KY on December 22, 1928, to the late John L. and Vivian Moffett Hays. She was a board member for Clark County Association for the Handicapped Citizens and the Phoenix House. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Dr. Craig Collins of Cincinnati; two daughters Cathi Collins Lykins (Charles Lykins) of Winchester and Carolee Woolwine of Cincinnati; two granddaughters Christy Woolwine Lykins (Billy R. Lykins) and Caroline Collins Lykins; five grandsons Jason Woolwine (Erin Woolwine), Michael Collins, Chris Collins (Vicki Collins), Jonathon Collins, and Logan Lykins; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016at the First United Methodist Church by Rev. Farley Stuart. Burial will follow the service at Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Lykins, Jason Woolwine, Logan Lykins, Chris Collins, Jonathan Collins, Michael Collins, Billy Lykins and Gavin Collins. Honorary Pallbearers will be United Methodist Women Prayer Group, Mansfield Fireside Circle, Fellowship Sunday School Class, two granddaughters, Christy Woolwine and Caroline Collins.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016 at First United Methodist Church.
