Special road dept. meeting today
There will be a special meeting of the Clark County Road Department committee at 3 p.m. today to discuss job descriptions for employees. The meeting will be at the road department, 5 Hopkins Lane.
FAFSA family night
Seniors and parents of seniors are invited to FAFSA Family Night from 5 to 8 p.m. Jan. 5 at George Rogers Clark High School. The event is hosted by GEAR UP and KHEAA. There will be a light meal served. Participants should bring the social security number for both parents and the student and 2015 tax information. Parks and Rec holiday hours
Winchester-Clark County Parks and Recreation will be closed Saturday, Sunday and Jan. 1. Facilities will close at 4 p.m. Friday and Dec. 31. Everything will reopen at 8 a.m. Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.
GRC SBDM meeting
The George Rogers Clark High School-based Decision-making Council will meet at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, in the SBDM conference room.
School board to meet Jan. 3
The Clark County Board of Education will hold an organizational meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017, followed by a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. The meetings will be in the Board Room at the Central Office Building, 1600 W. Lexington Ave., Winchester.
Leaf collection extended
City-wide leaf collection will end Thursday.
