Irene “Nana” McNabb, 92, widow of James R. McNabb, passed away Friday, December 30, 2016, at Windsor Care Center in Mt. Sterling.

Irene was born on July 9, 1924, in Clark County to the late William Harvey Haggard and Eva Mae Baber Hulker. She retired from Sylvania and was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Donnie (Karen) McNabb; four grandchildren, Le’Andrea Dee (Richie) Hunter, Sally Ann Keaton, Gavin McNabb, Audrey McNabb, all of Winchester; seven great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; she also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by a daughter, Georgia Ann Poer; one grandson, Josh Poer.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at Scobee Funeral Home.

Visitation will also be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00PM until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.
