Clark County Public Schools has canceled classes for the first time this school year because of the threat of inclement winter weather today.
According to the National Weather Service, snow is expected to fall all day in Clark County into the afternoon and evening. One to three inches of accumulation is expected, with up to four inches possible in some locations.
The NWS warns travel conditions will be impacted by the snowfall, and drivers should be prepared for snow-covered roads and limited visibility.
A winter weather advisory will be in effect until Friday morning, the NWS stated.
