Delbert Shipman, 62, of Winchester, passed away Monday at his home.

He was born November 28, 1954, in Harlan, KY, to the late Oscar and Stella Mae Houston Shipman.

He is survived by children, Delbert “Gerald” Shipman, Darlene Shipman, William Shipman all of Clark County and Rebecca Larison of Nicholasville, brothers, Oscar, Jim and Ken Shipman, nine grandchildren, nephews, nieces and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by brothers James and Bill Shipman.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 13, at 1pm at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St. Visitation will be from noon until the hour of service on Friday.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Larison, Gerald Shipman, William Shipman, Juan Duran, Ralph Messner and Lee Jackson. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.
