WINCHESTER POLICE

Reports

— At 12:22 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 419 E. Washington St. after someone broke into a residence and took several items.

— At 7:34 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 516 Magnolia St. after someone entered a business and vandalized the store and the fire extinguishers.

— At 7:47 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 235 DuBuy Drive after someone stole a purse and wallet from a vehicle.

— At 8:19 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 271 Cross Brook Court after items were stolen from a vehicle.

— At 10:10 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 234 DuBuy Drive after a wallet and work bag were taken from a truck.

— At 6 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 328 Colby Ridge Blvd. after a wallet was taken from a truck.

Accidents

— At 7:11 p.m. Jan. 4, officers responded to an injury accident on Bypass Road in which Cayce C. Christopher of 129 Lana Lane was walking across Bypass Road when she was struck by a vehicle turning from Colby Road. The driver, Bryce A. Thomas of 121 Albany Lane, told police he made the turn and struck the woman, who was wearing dark clothing. Christopher was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Reports

— At 11:08 a.m. Jan. 5, deputies were called to 1269 Jouett Point Lane after someone broke into a residence and stole medication.

— At 8:16 a.m. Monday, deputies were called to 1489 Clintonville Road after someone broke into a vehicle and took keys and a check.

— At 2:04 p.m. Jan. 5, deputies were called to 4885 Rockwell Road after someone broke into a garage and took a battery and several hundred gallons of diesel fuel from three trucks on the property.

— At 5:47 a.m. Monday, deputies were called to 2710 Colby Road after someone rummaged through a vehicle and took a case of DVDs.

— At 1:51 p.m. Monday, deputies were called to 1703 Water Works Road after someone stole a utility trailer.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Monday, emergency personnel responded to nine general medical calls, one cardiac case and one overdose.

— At 2:28 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 1315 Enterprise Drive. There was a malfunction in the sprinkler system.

— At 6:46 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 221 S. Burns Ave. it was set off by an overheated pan on the stove.

— At 8:56 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 2 N. Main St. The alarm malfunctioned.

— At 2:13 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 150 N. Main St. It was a false alarm.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 4:38 p.m. Monday, firefighters were called to 219 Hickory Lane for a service call.
