Ronald “Ronnie” Taulbee, 60 of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

He was a native of Dayton, OH, served 15 years in the U.S. Army and was a truck driver for IMI for 23 years. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pryce Taulbee.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Loreta Taulbee; one son, Michael Taulbee of Winchester; two daughters, Katherine Taulbee of Winchester and Melissa Taulbee of Elizabethtown; his mother, Lovisa Taulbee of Winchester; five siblings, Ricky Taulbee, Roger Taulbee, Lesa Taulbee all of Winchester, and Gary Taulbee and Diane Thornberry of Powell County; and five grandchildren, Corey, Jacob, Taylor, David and Audrey.

The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday.at the funeral home.
