Charged

— Christopher L. Bailey, 32, was charged Monday with fourth-degree assault.

— Joseph Harrison, 29, was charged Friday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Ricardo Herlandez, 36, was charged Friday with alcohol intoxication and second-degree indecent exposure.

— Jessica D. Marcum, 28, was charged Friday with third-degree burglary and was served a warrant.

— Frank Faulconer Rayburn, 55, was charged Friday with first-degree arson and first-degree wanton endangerment.

— Theodore Sidney Slominsky, 67, was charged Monday with second-degree robbery.

— Amber Dawn Whalen, 26, was charged Monday with possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree criminal trespassing and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.

Reports

— At 2:15 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 41 Buckner St. for a structure fire. Frank Faulconer Rayburn was arrested and charged with first-degree arson and first-degree wanton endangerment.

— At 8:06 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 13 Jackson St. concerning a stolen vehicle.

— At 9:58 p.m. Monday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a theft. Joseph Harrison was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking and Jessica D. Marcum was charged with third-degree burglary.

— At 10:27 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 52 Flanagan St. concerning a stolen package.

— At 1:21 p.m. Saturday, officers took a report concerning a DVO violation.

— At 1:24 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 1311 W. Lexington Ave. concenringa theft.

— At 2:45 p.m. Saturday, officers took a report concerning a stolen cell phone.

— At 3:36 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Clark Regional Medical Center concerning an assault.

— At 5:02 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 146 Stevenson Heights concerning an assault.

— At 7:02 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 102 Fulton Road for a domestic disturbance.

— At 7:29 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 228 Jackson St. concerning an assault.

— At 8:58 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 514 Colby Ridge Blvd. for a vandalism complaint.

— At 2:57 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to Clark Regional Medical Center concerning a possible sexual abuse complaint.

— At 5:06 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 1 Hubbard Road concerning a stolen wallet.

— At 5:34 a.m. Monday, officers were called to Main and Broadway streets concerning an assault.

— At 9:45 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 1000 Early Drive concerning a stolen vehicle and fraudulent checks.

— At 1:29 p.m. Monday, officers took a report concerning the fraudulent use of a credit card.

— At 3:32 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 1122 Dale Drive for an assault. Christopher L. Bailey was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault.

— At 5:48 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 1215 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a suspected shoplifter. Theodore Slominsky was arrested and charged with second-degree robbery.

— At 6:02 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 15 Taylor Ave. for a breaking and entering complaint.

— At 6:03 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 3591 Stamper Drive after someone broke into a vehicle and took property.

— At 6:42 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 125 S. Highland St. concerning a possible assault.

Accidents

— At 10:36 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 at the westbound 96 off ramp. Derek Clifford of Campton lost control of his Pontiac G6 on the wet ramp, spun around and hit an embankment with the left side of the car. The car overturned and Clifford was partially ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Tanner B. Kidwell, 39, of 516 Acadia Way, was charged Friday with driving under the influence and first-degree wanton endangerment (three counts).

— Christopher L. Hulett, 37, of Nicholasville, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence.

— Jeremy Hisle, 36, of 2370 Ecton Road, was charged Monday with driving under the influence.

Accidents

— At 6:18 p.m. Jan. 11, deputies responded to an injury accident on Boonesboro Road in which Tanner B. Kidwell of 516 Acadia Drive rear-ended a stopped vehicle at the intersection with Old Boonesboro Road. Both people in the stopped vehicle, Charles McPhearson and April McPhearson of 252 April Way, and Kidwell’s passenger Owron Gordon of 222 Locust Grove Road, were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
