School board meeting 

The Clark County Board of Education will meet for a work session at 6 p.m. today at Central Office, 1600 W. Lexington Ave. The meeting is open to the public. 

Extension Council meeting Monday

The Clark County Cooperative Extension Council will meet at noon Monday at the Extension Office, 1400 Fortune Drive.

Phoenix Housing Corp. meeting

The Board of Directors of the Phoenix Housing Corporation will have a meeting to elect officers at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Clark County Health Department’s lower level meeting room, 400 Professional Ave. 

AmbitionFest! 2017 

Join internationally-acclaimed leader Rich Harwood for AmbitionFest! 2017 at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at Campbell Junior High School, 620 Boone Ave. The event is free and open to the public. 

American Legion meeting 

American Legion Post 25 will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at the Elks Lodge on Shoppers Drive. All veterans are welcome. 

CCPS career fair 

Clark County Public Schools will have a career fair from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, in the auditorium at Central Office, 1600 W. Lexington Ave. CCPS is seeking qualified applicants for custodial, transportation and food service positions, with health, dental, visions, retirement and other benefits. SRNA classes to be offered 

Community Education is offering a state registered nurse aide class this spring. Classes begin March 7 and continue through May 21. Comprehensive plan meetings

There will be two public meetings concerning updates to the Comprehensive Plan for input and discussion. The meetings will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Clark County Public Library and 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at Hall’s on the River. For more information, call 744-7019.

Winchester Lions Club

Legislative coffee Feb. 2

The Winchester-Clark County Chamber of Commerce will host a legislative coffee with state Rep. Donna Mayfield and state Sen. Ralph Alvarado, 8 a.m. Feb. 2 at Cairn Coffee House, 17 S. Main St.
