Jamie W. Flynn, 86, transitioned peacefully to her heavenly home on January 22, 2017, after a valiant battle with cancer.
At the time of her passing she was being cared for by her beloved daughter, Brenda, at her farm in Sonoma County, California. Jamie’s devotion to her family and unwavering faith in God strengthened her and all those around her. Jamie was retired from Bluegrass Comprehensive Services in Winchester where she served as office manager for many years. She was a member of Calvary Christian Church.
Jamie is survived by her three children, Brenda Mahoney (Flynn), Donald Flynn, and Tony Flynn; her grandchildren Hayden Terstegge, Logan Flynn, Hannah Maki and Colby Flynn; her great grandsons Kelan and Flynn Terstegge, Gunner and Silas Flynn. She was dearly loved by her family and her faithful friends who served her selflessly during her illness. The family also recognizes the compassionate work of the hospice professionals who made her final days pain free.
Jamie’s life will be celebrated at Calvary Christian Church on February 17th, 2017, at 11am with a reception to follow at Holly Rood (Clark Mansion). The family gratefully declines flowers but encourages donations to hospice which humbly serves our communities and provides end of life support to families when it is most needed.
