Comprehensive plan meeting

The final public meeting concerning updates to the Comprehensive Plan for input and discussion will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at Hall’s on the River. For more information, call 744-7019.

American Legion meeting 

American Legion Post 25 will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Elks Lodge on Shoppers Drive. All veterans are welcome. 

CCPS career fair 

Clark County Public Schools will have a career fair from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday in the auditorium at Central Office, 1600 W. Lexington Ave. CCPS is seeking qualified applicants for custodial, transportation and food service positions, with health, dental, visions, retirement and other benefits. Marine Corps League meeting Saturday

The Harold G. Epperson, MOH Detachment No. 1113 Marine Corps League will have a general meeting at 9 a.m. Saturday at Winchester City Hall.

Winchester Lions Club meeting Jan. 31

The Winchester Lions Club will have a meeting to reorganize itself at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Arby’s. It is open to anyone interested in joining and helping revitalize the 86-year-old club. For more information, call Frank Farmer at 744-6103.

AARP meeting Jan. 31

AARP Chapter 632 will meet at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at the James B. Allen Generations Center. Winchester Mayor Ed Burtner will be the speaker. The meeting will be canceled if school is closed for weather.

Clark 4-H Council meeting

The Clark County 4-H Council will meet at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31 at the Extension Office, 1400 Fortune Drive.

Nurse aide classes offered 

Community Education is offering a state registered nurse aide class this spring. Classes begin March 7 and continue through May 21.
