CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Accidents

— At 10:50 a.m. Thursday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 in which Jessie C. Rogers of Mount Sterling was traveling east and merged to allow a tractor-trailer onto the highway and struck a stopped vehicle, driven by Michael J. Huff of Westchester, Ohio. Rogers was taken to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Thursday, emergency personnel responded to four general medical calls, four cardiac cases, one diabetic case and one seizure.

— At 5:26 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an unauthorized fire at 2 S. Burns Ave.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Steven Edward Rogers, 54, was charged Thursday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, reckless driving and second-degree fleeing or evading police.

— At 5:37 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 27 E. Washington St. concerning an assault.

— At 9:53 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 29 Kittison Drive concerning an assault.

— At 10:20 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 22 Georgia St. concerning a stolen bicycle.

— At 12:18 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to Clark Regional Medical Center concerning an assault.

— At 8:11 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to Clark REgional Medical Center concerning an assault.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 3:36 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a grass fire at 489 Pretty Run Road.

— At 3:56 p.m. Thursday, Winchester firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 641 Westmeade Drive.

— At 5:27 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near 4219 Colby Road.
