Russell Coleman Turley, 79, husband of Barbara Sue Tipton Turley, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017, at his home in Lexington surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on July 13, 1937, in Clark County, to the late Walter and Gertrude Baber Turley. Russell was a retired truck driver for Overnight Transportation. He was a member of Forest Grove Christian Church.

In addition to his wife Barbara, he is survived by one son, Barry Turley of Winchester; one daughter, Karen Turley of Lexington; two grandchildren, Erin Turley and Justin Turley; one great-granddaughter, Bridgette Church; one sister, Jean Stillwagon; one brother, Leslie Turley. Russell also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Russell was preceded in death by two brothers, Harvey Turley and Malcolm Turley; one sister, Barbara Ann Estes.

A time of visitation and remembrance to honor Russell’s life will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017, from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Forest Grove Christian Church, 4733 Old Boonesboro Road, Winchester, KY. 40391.
