Correction

A recent article about the Clark County Fiscal Court’s bank accounts being garnished by a court order said the lawsuit involved part of the Lower Howards Creek Nature preserve. Instead, the suit involved the nomination of the upper reaches of Boone Creek to the National Register of Historic Places, instead of Lower Howards Creek.

Winchester Licensing Board cancelled

The Feb. 20 meeting of the Winchester Licensing Board has been cancelled because of Presidents’ Day.

WWII Roundtable meeting 

The World War II Roundtable discussion group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Clark County Public Library. Discussion and presentation will be on WWII fighter planes. Free and open to the public.

Campbell YSC meeting Friday

The Campbell Junior High School Youth Service Center will meet at 11 a.m. Friday in the resource center room.

Mayfield to speak At Kiwanis

State Rep. Donna Mayfield will update Winchester Kiwanis Club members and visitors on the latest changes in Frankfort during the Club’s meeting at noon March 1 at Taste of China.

Ladies heart health luncheon

School board meeting Feb. 21

The Clark County Board of Education will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Central Office, 1600 W. Lexington Ave. The meeting is open to the public.

Community Education classes offered 

Clark County Community Education will offer the following courses:

— Lawn, Garden and Landscape Workshop: Landscape Trees Selection and Care, 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, free.

— Chair yoga, 2-3 p.m. Mondays, Feb. 27 through March 20, $20.

— Easy flow yoga, 6-7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20 through March 20, $25; 6-7 p.m. Wednesdays, Feb. 22 through March 22, $25; or 9:15-10:15 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 through March 23, $25.
