WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Monday, emergency personnel responded to nine general medical calls, one cardiac case, one respiratory case and three strokes.

— During the weekend, emergency personnel responded to 33 general medical calls, seven cardiac cases, three respiratory cases, two diabetic cases, one stroke and three overdoses.

— At 7:34 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 505 W. Lexington Ave. It was a false alarm.

— At 2:55 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 405 Pueblo Court. It was set off by burned food on a stove.

— At 9:42 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 200 Rosemary Drive. It was a false alarm.

— At 12:44 p.m. Monday, firefighters were called to 509 Hidden Hills Way for a report of smoke. It was an overheated motor on a washing machine.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Charlene L. Canafax, 53, was charged Monday with theft by unlawful taking.

— John Luke Mansfield, 18, was charged Monday with resisting arrest, theft by unlawful taking from a vehicle, second-degree fleeing or evading police and third-degree possession of a controlled susbtance.

— Brandon Tyler Peel, 20, was charged Monday with resisting arrest, theft by unlawful taking from a vehicle, second-degree fleeing or evading police and was served a bench warrant.

— Sandra Rader, 56, was charged Monday with third-degree burglary.

Reports

— At 1:14 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 315 Geronimo Court concerning two suspicious males checking vehicles. John Mansfiend and Brandon Peel were arrested on multiple charged.

— At 10:59 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 1960 Bypass Road concerning a suspected shoplifter. Charlene Canafax was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 3:25 p.m. Monday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a suspected shoplifter. Sandra Rader was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary.

— At 4:25 p.m. Monday, officers took a report concerning a wallet that was stolen from a vehicle on Alabama Street during the weekend.

— At 6:36 p.m. Monday, officers took a report concerning a stolen handgun from a vehicle.
