Thanks for tribute to husband

Awesome! Thank you for the article and for putting my late husband Homer Ledford’s picture on the front page. He passed away December 11, 2006.

On Sunday evening, January 29, at the Lyric Theater in Lexington, Homer was honored for his contributions in the field of music. He was selected by the third annual Lexington Music Awards Committee for the Lifetime Achievement Award — along with John Michael Montgomery, Dwight Yoakam, Nick Lawrence, Merle Travis and five others. At this event 31 categories in music were recognized.

Over his lifetime Homer received many well-deserved honors and awards. This posthumous award may be his last. However, I would also like to honor his memory by stating that he was also a wonderful husband and father. I miss him.
